1) Individuals who have been unsuccessful in relieving intractable suffering using other therapies, 2) Men who have been told they have "anger problems", or who simply want to feel better, become more emotionally capable in their relationships, 3) Individuals who are experiencing faith crises, or transitioning away from orthodox belief, 4) Individuals and couples who have sexual problems, sexual dysfunction, and/or sexual dissatisfaction, 5) Couples who are stuck in ambivalence about whether to stay and work on their relationship, or separate.
1) Interpersonal Reconstrutive Therapy (IRT), which is an empirically-supported, integrative model (meaning it employs the clinical best practices tailored to the particular needs and characteristics of a person) that begins with a precise case formulation so we can understand together what, exactly, is going on. IRT is especially useful for people who feel trapped in anxiety, depression, and/or anger, and can be useful for people diagnosed with personality disorders.
2) Sex therapy.
3) Discernment Counseling for "couples on the brink," who can't decide whether to try to work on their relationship, or to part.
4) Maturity in religious practice and belief, whether staying in or leaving one's religion.
Individual therapy or sex therapy: $220 per clinical "hour" of 45 minutes.
Discernment Counseling: $400 per 90-minute session (1-5 sessions).
