Description
Mellissa is a licensed associate counselor, practicing in Mesa, Arizona, at Stories Counseling. She received her bachelor’s degree in sociology and family studies at BYU-Idaho and her masters degree in professional counseling at Grand Canyon University. She works with the Mormon and post-Mormon population tackling issues such as interfaith marriages, LGBTQIA+ issues within a Mormon context, religious trauma, scrupulosity & OCD, and identity conflicts. Mellissa runs DBT faith transition groups and has published a faith transition workbook.
