Professional Statement

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Minnesota, and I work with individuals, couples and families.

My clinical specialties center on treating clients who have felt marginalized or othered in any way, and I understand that this is a common experience for folks navigating LDS church related issues. Whether you are in the church, out of the church, or navigating the space in between, I understand there are many ways that you can end up feeling othered, and that this can be hurtful to you and to your relationships. My goal is to approach therapy from a relationship/attachment centered approach, as I believe that safe, nurturing relationships are essential catalysts for healing and change. I also specialize in working with neurodivergent clients (autism, ADHD, language disorders, intellectual disability, etc), particularly when neurodivergence overlaps with faith journey dynamics.

I do therapy via telehealth or in-person at Secure Base Counseling Center in Northfield, MN. I’m happy to offer a complimentary phone call to see if we might be a good fit. Feel free to reach out directly to me via email for scheduling:
