Professional Statement

I’m Angela, a Colorado-based therapist. As a client looking for therapeutic help in navigating new diagnoses in my family, I experienced first-hand the gap in disability-informed therapists. I strive to be the therapist I so needed, and as such, I love treating individuals, couples, and families experiencing special-needs, including (but not limited to) ADHD, autism, PDA (pathological demand avoidance/persistent drive for autonomy), and anxiety.

I have completed Level 1 and 2 of Gottman training for couples. I love helping couples of all kinds find better ways to communicate, really see each other, and have a deeper connection.

I also support clients experiencing religious trauma or a faith crisis or faith transition. Many of these clients are afraid that their therapist will try to sway their values and decisions, and I work hard to honor every client’s religious and spiritual beliefs, no matter where they lie on that spectrum. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and strive to maintain cultural competence.

I currently offer virtual sessions to Colorado residents.
