Hi,
I am Carrie Coplen. It is so nice to mee you. I have worked with children and young adults for many years, starting as a certified public school teacher in Florida. After some time, I made the decision to step out of the workforce to raise my own children. Like many people, I faced the anxiety and challenges that often come with life’s crossroads. It was during this period that I truly understood the difficulties that significant life changes can bring and the importance of having positive mental health support during such transitions. This realization led me to dedicate myself to providing professional counseling, with the goal of empathetically supporting each individual in developing positive mental health strategies that enhance their self-worth and overall happiness.
My expertise lies in individual cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR trauma therapy, and I work with clients ranging from 8-year-old children to adults. I am deeply passionate about child development, parenting, and helping my clients navigate through trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I earned a Bachelors of Art from Brigham Young University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
