Professional Statement

Wild Bloom Therapy & Wellness (Chelsey Liaga B.S. ED, LMSW, PMH-C) provides therapy for religious trauma, faith transitions, and moms in Arizona. Chelsey specializes in supporting moms through the life transitions and providing a safe space to navigate struggles like mom guilt, postpartum anxiety or depression, leaving a high demand religion and the search for identity while raising kids.

Chelsey is certified in both Brainspotting and Perinatal Mental Health. She offers virtual and in-person sessions and is currently accepting new clients.

This is a supervised private practice. It is owned and/or managed by a master’s level, non-independent licensee under Board-approved clinical supervision pursuant to A.A.C. R4-6-211.

Most of the women I work with describe feeling like they “lost themselves” somewhere along the way. Like they’ve spent years being who they were supposed to be instead of who they actually are.

I get it. Growing up in high-demand religion means your identity was shaped around being agreeable, selfless, and obedient. You were taught to trust external authority over your own inner voice. So when you start to question the beliefs you were raised with, it can feel disorienting and even terrifying. Many women tell me, “I don’t even know what I want,” or, “I feel guilty for wanting more.” That’s where our work begins.

My approach is compassionate, slow, and grounded. I don’t rush your process or talk at you. I help you reconnect to yourself: your thoughts, your body, your intuition, your values. I use Brainspotting and relational talk therapy to help you move through shame, learn how to trust yourself again, and build a life that feels like it actually belongs to you.

In therapy, we might explore identity, boundaries, motherhood, marriage (including mixed-faith dynamics), self-worth, and how to let yourself take up space without guilt. This is a space where you don’t have to “perform” being okay. You don’t have to explain Mormonism to me. You can just be real.

If you’re in Arizona and you’re looking for a place where you can feel understood, supported, and empowered to create a new story for your life, I’d love to work with you. You deserve to feel at home in yourself again.
