Professional Statement

As an LCMHC offering online therapy across Utah and Idaho, I specialize in helping adults heal from betrayal trauma, attachment wounds, and the painful relationship cycles that leave people questioning their own worth and reality.
Much of my work speaks directly to the experiences of Latter-day Saint clients. Pornography-related betrayal trauma cuts to the core of covenant relationships and the values many members hold most sacred — and the shame, confusion, and spiritual grief that follow are compounded when faith and marriage are deeply intertwined. I also work with individuals healing from infidelity, narcissistic or emotionally manipulative relationships, people-pleasing patterns rooted in old wounds, midlife divorce, and the identity questions that surface in major life transitions.
I understand the unique pressures, expectations, and cultural dynamics that shape life for Latter-day Saint individuals and families — the perfectionism, the weight of worthiness, the difficulty asking for help. I don’t impose a religious framework, but I respect and work within each client’s values. Whether someone is a committed member, navigating a faith transition, or simply shaped by Mormon culture, I meet them where they are.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in trauma, attachment theory, and neuroscience. I help clients understand the old patterns running beneath the surface — and gently shift them toward security, confidence, and genuine connection.
I offer flexible scheduling, on-demand sessions when needed, and a free 15-minute consultation — no pressure, just a real conversation.
