Life can be challenging even during the happiest times, so when relationships, identities, bodies, situations, and beliefs change, it can leave us feeling lost or discouraged. Maybe you have lacked the space to understand what you independently think, feel, and want. Maybe your community, family, religious group, or society made it difficult to explore these things, and now you’re wondering why you feel so disconnected from yourself? Maybe you’re experiencing hopelessness, worry, a loss of interest in the things you once enjoyed—and wondering if it’s time to look inside yourself so you you can engage with your loved ones more authentically.
I came to this work with a belief that everyone deserves compassionate, nonjudgmental support—whether they are facing a crisis, moving through a transition, grieving a loss, or feeling unsure of how to move forward. I’ve witnessed the impact of carrying pain alone, and I’ve also seen the healing that becomes possible when struggles are met with empathy, understanding, and care.
I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, relationship stress, burnout, and spiritual or religious transitions. I am deeply familiar with the emotional complexity of faith-expansive experiences, and I create a safe, nonjudgmental space for healing from trauma, shame, and identity reconstruction.
For couples, I help partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen connection through an approach that values accepting and understanding our differences. Many of the couples I work with are facing significant life transitions (parenthood, perimenopause, or reexamining long-held beliefs) and therapy provides a space to rebuild on a foundation of authenticity and respect. My approach is founded on the trust we build together. I am grounded in the belief that real change happens when we understand the patterns shaping our lives and relationships. I provide individual, couples, and family therapy, specializing in relational work and trained by the world-renowned Couples Institute.
If you’d like to learn more about working together, please reach out for a quick chat so I can really hear about what’s going on in your life that led you to reach out for support. I see clients in-person in my cozy office in Bellevue or virtually, and I hope to connect with you soon!
