Professional Statement

As a licensed clinical social worker, I work with adult individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity exploration (including LGBTQIA+), low self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and affirming—grounded in the belief that healing is possible when we feel seen and safe. I believe strongly in self-determination, that we are the authorities in our own lives, and that we all have the ability to discover the solutions to our struggles and reach the best versions of ourselves given the proper support and resources.

My practice is rooted in a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. I take a person-centered approach that blends evidence-based techniques, such as EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness, with a deep respect for each person’s lived experience, culture, and values. I strive to bring authenticity to the work I do and create a non-judgmental, safe, collaborative space where you can show up as your full self—messy, complex, and evolving.

I believe healing is a collaborative process that begins with a strong, trusting relationship. In therapy, we will work together to challenge unproductive thinking patterns, explore your inner world, reconnect with your intuition, process trauma, find grounding practices that support healing, and build practical tools for daily life. Whether you’re processing past experiences, exploring your identity, or seeking better ways to cope day-to-day, you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, insight, and regard.
