Professional Statement

My passion is helping people find peace, connection, and fulfillment in their relationships with self, loved ones, and sexuality. I take a collaborative approach with my clients, walking with them in their journey towards a place of authenticity, healing, growth, and flourishing. I approach our work together as a collaboration and partnership in you meeting your goals. Client’s have described me as connected, non-judgmental, compassionate, empowering, and insightful.

I am an experiential therapist meaning that I view our struggles as being the result of experiences we have had and the way that we make sense of ourself and our world. As we identify where we are at odds with ourselves or with our behaviors, we can change how we engage with ourselves and those around us. We create growth and healing through bringing our internal and external worlds into greater harmony.

Relationship clients I work with both engage in this experiential process both about themselves and their partners. In confronting how they each contribute to the functioning of the relationship, we work together to create a sustainable balance of connection and differentiation (a solid, confident sense of an independent self). This balance means that each person can feel safe, secure, and intimate in the relationship while also being a healthy, vibrant individual.

Psychedelic medicine is becoming a larger part of my practice. I currently offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (counseling that makes use of ketamine in some sessions) and support services such as preparation, integration, and harm reduction efforts in journeying for those using other plant based psychedelics (psilocybin, mescaline, etc.) in their own journey following there decriminalization in Colorado. This type of work can be helpful in addressing trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, shame, anger/resentment, obsessiveness, relationship disconnection, spiritual exploration, and existential distress.
