Professional Statement

Something in you already knows you are ready for a change. Maybe it’s a faith you’ve outgrown, a family pattern you keep repeating, or a version of yourself that stopped fitting long ago. Maybe it’s a body that’s been asking you to slow down for a while now, or a “no” you can feel but can’t yet explain. Or maybe you’re watching someone you love — a child, a partner, yourself — become someone new, and you don’t have language for what that’s stirring up. Any of these is a real place to start. You don’t have to have it figured out to walk through the door.

I work with adults navigating faith transitions and religious trauma, complex developmental and attachment trauma, chronic illness and medical transitions, grief, and the kind of life passages that rock your foundation. I also support caregivers and parents whose children’s identities are expanding in ways that ask something new of them. Many of the people I work with are managing anxiety, low mood, or the quiet exhaustion of holding it together for a long time.

My approach is relational and body-based first — I believe healing lives in the nervous system as much as the mind, in sensation and safety, not just insight. I draw on somatic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-informed and trauma-focused work, adapting to what each person actually needs rather than a single method.

I came to this work the long way, through my own life journey, and the slow practice of learning to trust my own voice. That’s part of why I don’t believe healing is mine to give — it unfolds when you feel genuinely seen.

I offer a free 20-minute consultation — just a conversation about whether this feels like the right fit.
