Professional Statement

I recently completed an MA in Marriage & Family therapy from UVU (2023) and work at Progressive Paths Therapy. I am a member of the LGBTQ-Affirmative Psychotherapist Guild of Utah and the Utah Association for Marriage & Family Therapy. I work with adults, teens, couples, and families. I am passionate about providing supportive, affirming, and culturally sensitive care to each client. I enjoy working with: depression, anger, anxiety, healing from trauma and abuse (including systemic oppression), increasing self-esteem/self-worth, religious concerns and faith crises/transitions, women’s issues, healthy boundaries in relationships, couples and marriage therapy, family therapy, and LGBTQIA affirmative work. I am EMDR certified, trained in trauma informed CBT, and I am Level 1 trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I view those who consult me as an expert on themselves and work collaboratively with each person, providing support, guidance, and skills to help you reach your goals and realize the growth and healing you desire.
