Professional Statement

I have experience supporting clients as they heal from complex trauma, religious trauma, anxiety, low self-worth and shame. I also love working with folks as they explore their unique faith journey, gender and sexual identity, and sense of spirituality.

I try to remain flexible and adapt to each client’s needs, typically using therapy approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic therapy, mindfulness, and parts work. My approach is rooted in attachment theory and specialized training in complex trauma. My goal is to help clients identify root causes of their struggles, create meaningful change, heal from trauma, and learn healthier ways of coping with life’s stressors.

I feel truly honored to be a therapist. It is inspiring to help clients learn how to keep the past in the past so they can live more fully in the present and pursue a life more aligned with who they truly are. I firmly believe that we all have the capacity to grow and change; I hope to empower others to do just that.
