I’m a licensed mental health counselor and I love what I do. My goal with every client is to see the best in my clients and to build a therapeutic bond that is a source of empathy, acceptance, and authenticity. The clients who find me the most helpful are ones looking for a counselor who can help them understand themselves, create new trajectories for their lives, generate increased self-compassion, normalize rather than shame.

In my practice, I use evidence-based techniques mixed with realism and humor. I love getting to know my clients and the complexities of their stories. I recognize and respect the unique challenges that can come with having intersectional- and cross-cultural identities. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life, including those with neurodivergencies and individuals historically marginalized in society. I’m also passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of their faith transitions regardless of labels. My clients are experts on themselves and their own lived experiences, I’m here to help them in understanding their stories.

I’m ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and specializing in working with folks who have been diagnosed with, or suspect they may have ADHD. I’m trained in the use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) for the treatment of PTSD and C-PTSD, and I use tools from several modalities, such as Feminist Theory, Relational-Cultural, Emotion-Focused therapies. I received my Masters of Counseling from Oregon State University and have a Bachelors of Arts in History and minor in Political Science. I identify as a cisgender fat feminist woman, wife and mother. I am obsessed with plants, baking, musicals, Brandi Carlile, petting all dogs, and finding new ways to keep my own ADHD in check.
