Professional Statement

I’m a Clinical Social Worker (CSW) at Symmetry Counseling in Utah and earned my Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University. I work with individuals of all ages and couples, helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, identity, relationships, parenting, substance use concerns, faith transitions, and life transitions with curiosity and compassion. I have a particular interest in disenfranchised grief, religious trauma, and the ways sexuality, relationships, and identity intersect with these experiences.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and narrative therapy to help clients better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with their values. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and free from judgment as they explore difficult experiences and meaningful change.

I am currently pursuing AASECT certification to deepen my knowledge of sexual health and relationships because I believe these are important parts of overall well-being and deserve thoughtful, compassionate care.

Outside of therapy, I’m a mom of four (ages 18, 16, and 11-year-old twins). I enjoy reading, traveling, watching movies, and taking sunset walks with my dogs.

I offer both in-person appointments at our Cottonwood Heights office and online telehealth sessions for clients throughout Utah.
