I became a junior high school teacher in 2019; and spent the next four years doing more de-escalating and counseling my students than teaching. I realized I enjoyed it more, so I switched careers. My passion is working with adolescents, especially young women, who are navigating life transitions with all of its choices and opportunities. In this day and age, there are additional stressors and anxieties, especially if your teen has ADHD and/or trauma. I work from a person-centered, trauma-informed base to create a safe space for your teen to process difficult decisions and can use EMDR to clear up old trauma pathways if necessary.
