I have been a therapist for eight years now and have worked in both hospital and clinical settings. Although I initially worked with children and adolescents in the child welfare system, I have found that I really enjoy helping adults- and women, in particular. I use a balanced approach of listening to your concerns and allowing you to express yourself while offering research-based solutions. I feel that it’s important to let you work at your own pace to process whatever it is you’re dealing with- whether past trauma, current concerns, or both! I am certified in EMDR for processing trauma and I also provide PCIT (parent child interaction therapy) for those wanting to better connect with their younger children and reduce frustrating behaviors.
