Professional Statement

I’m Mike Fuller, an LCSW and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) specializing in Sex Therapy for individuals and couples navigating the complex intersection of trauma, sexual health, and religious upbringing.

My clinical approach is deeply informed by my own 20-year journey as a religious educator, a path I summarize as moving ‘from orthodoxy to compassion,’ which allows me to provide a non-judgmental, affirming perspective.

As a therapist completing my Certified Sex Therapist training, I have also accumulated over 100 hours of specialized training beyond my core certifications in crucial areas including Somatic Interventions, LGBTQ+ Affirmative Care, Perinatal Mental Health, and Advanced Ethical Boundaries.

I help adults and couples heal the specific trauma of shame, integrating powerful modalities like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR principles for individual work, and I am Gottman Method (Level 1) trained for structured relational repair.

My goal is to guide you in dismantling limiting beliefs such as “my worth is conditional” or “my desire is sinful” to reclaim your body, and building a secure, fulfilling life rooted in your authentic values and deepest connections.
