Professional Statement

Many of us have had the experience of understanding a problem better after explaining it to someone else. My goal is to support you in moving forward at your own pace and in the direction of your choice. For our journey I will act as your GPS. You are free to choose the best route for us to travel and I will help us get there.

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. In our work together, I will listen without judgment, create a space for you to express and experience a range of emotions, and use or provide tools that meet your needs as an individual. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, and we will work together to find a process that works for you. Money can often decrease the accessibility to therapy. I am currently able to accept Aetna insurance and am in the process of being credentialed with other providers. If finances are an issue, please still feel free to reach out. I offer a sliding scale for fees, and we can work together to make sure services are still accessible to you. I am committed to reducing the barriers to mental health services.
