Professional Statement

Hello, I’m Rebecca, a dedicated and empathetic Certified Social Worker with a profound commitment to supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Utah State University. My education and experience have equipped me with the skills and insights necessary to provide holistic and person-centered care.

After going through my own faith journey, including a mixed-faith marriage, as well as opportunities to serve in humanitarian expeditions, I decided to change the course of my life and go back to school in order to serve people in a way that is meaningful to me. I am committed to fostering an environment where individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered to embrace change and transformation.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and building a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe that everyone’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet their specific needs. I integrate evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-Based approaches to empower my clients in finding their inner resilience.

I view each client’s journey as a collaborative endeavor, and I feel honored to play a role in their path towards greater well-being.
