Professional Statement

I am an experienced trauma-informed therapist specializing in Faith Transitions. I provide compassionate psychotherapy for adults. Particular areas of interest and expertise include all aspects of religious trauma, as well as Parent/Adult Child Estrangement. I listen carefully and provide warmth, kindness, humor, and perspective. I honor each person’s journey, innate wisdom, and creativity, and hope to help you find and access yours. I avoid preconceptions and diagnostic labels. I work with love.
I am experienced in helping people with trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. I have a special interest in helping people/families who are navigating leaving a high-demand religion or cult, undergoing a faith transition, or have experienced religious trauma. I do not impose my own values. These are such deeply human stories and I am honored to accompany people in this way.
I have worked for many years with children and families, and can help with parenting issues of all kinds. LGBTQ+ and Neurodiversity Affirming . I am bilingual in Spanish and English. Both In-person and Telehealth sessions available.
