Professional Statement

I work with thoughtful, analytical adults who have survived by being strong, insightful, and self-reliant. But insight has its limits. Many clients come to me saying, “I understand myself better than ever, but nothing actually feels different.” That’s where we begin.

I specialize in faith transitions and religious trauma, especially those who have left LDS or other high-demand systems. These transitions unravel far more than belief; they shake identity, belonging, emotional safety, and meaning itself. Using a NARM-informed, attachment-focused approach, I help clients reconnect with agency and build the present-time connection they’ve longed for but didn’t know how to cultivate.

I am Master Certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a modality that helps clear traumatic material without re-exposure. I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), supporting clients who want deeper emotional access or who have had psychedelic experiences outside therapy and need help making sense of them. I completed the 2025-2026 Polaris KAP Training Cohort.

I work especially well with gifted, neurodivergent, and highly sensitive adults–people who have always felt “different,” or who learned early to mute parts of themselves to fit family, faith, or culture. My background in computer science and English, combined with my lived experience of cancer survivorship, spiritual transition, and parenting neurodivergent children, shapes my ability to hold emotional complexity without oversimplifying it.

My approach weaves NARM’s focus on agency and connection, ART’s capacity for emotional integration, and a grounded existential sensibility. Clients often tell me they feel deeply seen, able to bring their depth without needing to minimize, translate, or justify it. I offer a space where complexity is welcome and difficult emotions can be explored, understood, and integrated without shame or urgency, creating the possibility for meaningful and lasting change.
