Professional Statement

I have been a social worker for over 25 years. I have worked with individuals, couples and families, to help them better manage life stressors, such as depression, anxiety, chronic pain, faith transitions, communication issues and relationship issues. As a therapist, I help people learn new skills to better manage life changes to better one’s overall well-being. My approach to therapy is to help you apply what we work on in therapy outside of our sessions. I am a firm believer in applying the tools and skills learned in therapy in your individual life and environment. I use evidence-based practice handouts and curated homework strategies according to your needs, to help you achieve the goals that you are seeking to accomplish through therapy.

I offer individual, couple and family sessions using evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, motivational interviewing and mindfulness) to help achieve one’s goals through therapy. A little about me, I love traveling and being outdoors, as well as spending quality time with my wife, children and grandchildren.
