Professional Statement

I work with individuals, couples and families. I have special interest in women’s issues including relationships, faith issues, trauma, and empowering women to reach their full potential. I specialize in healing from trauma/abuse, family and relationship therapy, adoption and attachment issues, working with teens, self-harm and suicidal ideation, depression and anxiety, and issues related to discrimination and systemic oppression of minority groups (race, gender, sexual orientation, etc.). I look at every situation systemically and, in my work, utilize Family Systems therapies, DBT, CBT, Lifespan Integration, mindfulness, and empowerment principles. I offer a safe and nurturing space to grow and move through the therapeutic process. I value the resilience of the human spirit and the intrinsic value of every human being. I feel privileged to walk through the change process with people and be entrusted with their life stories. I am a Utah LMFT Supervisor.
