Professional Statement

Emotional pain is a beacon that something in our lives needs to change. Therapy helps, and doesn’t have to be painful or intimidating. I am aware that what you share may be very personal or may feel shameful. I am here to listen, without judgment. I help you assess your values, and bring those values & behavior into alignment.

My clinical focus is mainly sex therapy. I am trained in a broad range of sexual health issues, including pornography-related issues, fetishes, and women’s sexuality issues, including lichens sclerosus. My groups (see below) are evidence-based and focus on helping women who experience low sexual desire, or who experience sexual pain.

I specialize in using a values-based approach. I also work with mental health-related issues including conflicts related to faith/belief systems, and mixed-faith marriages. I work within your value system. NOTE: Sex therapy does NOT include physical touch.
