I am passionate about helping gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and queer clients in a variety of areas. I often help clients build and maintain healthy relationships, work through depression, stress, or anxiety, navigate relationships with less accepting family or friends, deal with difficulties surrounding coming out, overcome sexual challenges, and manage shame, discrimination and stigma. I frequently write letters of support for transgender or gender non-conforming individuals who wish to gain access to hormone replacement therapy or surgeries. I also often work with clients who are navigating their faith background with their experience of sexuality or gender.
If you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, same-gender loving, transgender, gender non-binary, asexual, poly, kinky, queer, questioning, confused, or not a big fan of labels, and you need a place to talk, I am here. I work both out of my physical office in Kaysville and online (throughout Utah).
In addition to my practice, I work as a professor of psychology at Utah State University where I teach and do research about sexual and gender minority mental health. Please feel free to check out my website www.tylerlefevor.com for more information about my therapy, teaching, or research.
