I work collaboratively with adult clients who are recovering from high-demand or abusive relationships, groups, religions, and cults. I provide an integrative healing experience to address the nervous system dysregulation that results from these adverse experiences. I draw from a variety of trauma-informed therapies such as Somatic Experiencing, Inner Relationship Focusing, EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create an eclectic, individualized treatment approach that feels comfortable for each client. My work with clients is consent-based and I welcome feedback throughout the treatment. I offer Teletherapy sessions via Zoom for those living in NY state and the greater NYC area.
I obtained a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University and post-graduate certificates in Psychoanalysis, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Integrative Trauma. While I currently work exclusively with individual adults (18+), my background in family systems and attachment theory informs my work with clients interested in strengthening their relationships and learning to live into their personal agency and boundaries.
It’s often difficult to reach out to a therapist for the first time. To make the process a little easier and free of initial financial obligation, I offer a free, brief phone consultation. You’re welcome to email or call to set that up. It takes courage to take that first step; I’m here to help.
